ok i dont know if I’m freaking myself out or what. but recently I was diagnosed with hpv and I have been inspecting my private areas everyday. I recently found something. It doesnt look like any of the pictures I’ve seen on the internet. it is around my anal area. It is flat and looks like its just missing some skin. I thought maybe I had a razor button or i shaved some skin off but im not sure. I shaved there a couple of days before i noticed it. I had my boyfriend take a look and he said it just looked like an open wound or like some skin was just missing. is this warts?

No. A wart is a growth of skin. So it can’t be that. But it could be caused by your HPV or herpes. So you better have it checked. Have an STD test. Do it now that the sore is open and that’s the only way to test for herpes.

May just be a hemorrhoid. I don’t thinks it’s a wart.
