Question by c504play: if i have gential warts does that mean that i can never ever have sex again?
I just found out that I have gential warts, I am 56 yrs old, does having gential warts mean that my love life is over for ever, I don’t want to pass this on to anyone. still in a fog over finding out and not real sure of all the answers yet. any information on what it really means would be great.

wow sorry to hear that. But yes you can still have sex. You just have to learn to use a condom and take the meds they give you. My mom has herpes and she is 47. She and her boyfriend still have sex. And yes she got it from him. Can’t believe she is still with him…. But anyways you can have warts and still have sex just be very very careful! Good luck to you.

the best thing is to go to your medical doctor. They may offer you the option of have it cauterized or removed by laser. It is always the best option to practice safe sex.

You can get rid of gential warts, you ob/gyn can treat them, will take a number of treatments. They may have better/easier treatments since the ’70s. Your sex life is not over, your partner will probably need treatment, as well.
